68 teams finally down to 2. These are the two teams who outlasted the field and one of them is going to be the 2011 National Champion. The Connecticut Huskies- a proven program, with a big name well-known head coach against the Butler Bulldogs who are battle tested after being here last year, and have debatably the most wanted coach in college hoops right now in Brad Stevens. While the country is definitely missing the chance to see players like Kyrie Irving, Harrison Barnes, Jimmer Fredette, Nolan Smith, Jared Sullinger and Derrick Williams. We're still getting one of the best in Kemba Walker, and 2 of the most under-the-radar players in Shelvin Mack and Matt Howard of Butler. The National Championship is always highly anticipated, but there's just something a little extra exciting about this one, since neither of these teams were expected to make it to this point at the season's start. If UConn wins this one, it'll be 3 tournaments they took down this season- they already won in Maui, they already won in MSG, and now they're trying to win the biggest one yet in Houston. Cinderella vs. The Tournament Superstars, Monday night in Houston.

Well, normally I say to ride the hot hand, but in this situation; we have Butler and UConn who are 2 of those hottest teams in the country. I can't even remember the last time one of these teams lost, and neither of them are showing signs of weakness. One of them struggles on offense, but their defense covers it just fine. The three's aren't falling? Both teams have someone there getting offensive boards. This time it comes down to the players on the court, and for me I have to take Kemba Walker above all else. On top of that he's getting great help from the likes of Alex Oriakhi and Jeremy Lamb. UConn is just going to be too much here.
