Yesterday’s Recap

Yesterday was a losing day for me. First one of those in a while.

Was nice to see the Phillies come out and dominate for me. That game was never in question. In hoops I was very disappointed with the Cavs as they obviously didn’t show up for a 2nd straight game. The one game that stung a little was the Suns. They won by 2 and I had them -3. Not included in my record is a 2H play on the Hornets that won! Both of my parlays of big ML winners won so that was key as well. In pucks it was just a horrible night. Not much went well as my two Puck Lines won by 1. Grrrrrrr… Makes you question if PL is a value play, ever? I think it might be a good idea to always put some on the ML and some on the PL if you like the PL. Ok, onto Thursday!

Today’s lineup is a little smaller so we are going to squeeze this all into one post. Should be a nice value added post!

NCAAF

2U North Carolina: North Carolina +16.5 @ Virginia Tech (North Carolina looked good/better against Florida St. last week. This is an in conference rivalry that should be fairly close. Va Tech is done fighting for a big bowl / championship game but could still win the ACC. I think UNC controls the tempo and we see a fairly low scoring game here. 27 – 24 final.)

MLB

2U Phillies: Phillies +170 @ Yankees Game 2 (I think you have to keep riding the Phillies til they prove otherwise. Only because of the odds though. Getting a +170 is great value in my opinion.)

NBA

4U Spurs: San Antonio -4 at Chicago (The play is the Spurs here. They are always a solid road team while the Bulls are just opening up the season. Rose hasn’t played much at all this pre-season and could be a bit rusty. Look for the Spurs to control this game from start to finish. Spurs by 8.)

2U Denver: Denver +6.5 at Portland (The Blazers might win this game, but won’t cover the 6.5 – I like the value on the Nuggets here.)

1U Ottawa: Ottawa -105 at Tampa Bay (Ottawa has pure dominance over the years on TB. The Senators starting goalie may be out and I think that is why the line is a pickem. I’m taking my chances on Ottawa again tonight.)

1U ML + 1U PL Washington: Washington -165 +180PL at Atlanta (Kovalchuk is out. Atlanta not the same team without him. Ovechkin and crew roll.)

1U ML + 1U PL Chicago: Chicago -160 +180PL at Nashville (Like the Blackhawks to win with the PL in this one.)

1U Oilers: Detroit at Edmonton +120 (The Oilers have been struggling but it’s time to stop that streak at home tonight. 4-2 Oilers.)
