So who do we like in Survivor for week 1 of the NFL season? Quite honestly we see this being one of the toughest weeks on the whole schedule. Not only because it IS week 1 and every team is learning but also because the matchups are plain old tough. That being said, we are going to give you three picks for your survivor pool in week 1.
Before we give you our survivor picks lets take a look at the week 1 odds in order of the favorites. When all else fails, taking the biggest Vegas favorite in Survivor pools can be a good strategy. I mean who knows these games better than Vegas?

San Francisco 49ers Survivor Week 1
We may be going out on a limb here taking a small road favorite as survivor in week 1. But I think the Seahawks are terrible. The Niners defense might shutout Seattle and I see very little way they 49ers lose this game. That being said, it is week one, and Vegas is giving the Seahawks way more credit than me. Therefor it’s our 3rd option.
New York Giants Survivor Week 1
We like the New York Giants at home to beat the Carolina Panthers. The Giants make a solid survivor for sure and would be our second choice. The Panthers had a great ending to the 2009 season and they did throttle the Giants last year. But New York is way more healhy this year and has revenge on the mind.
New Orleans Saints Survivor Week 1
This is the week 1 lock pick survivor of the NFL. How can it be a lock going against a team as good as the Vikings? Well, simple. Momentum. Favre won’t be in sync. Home field. Drew Brees. You name. The Who Dats will be ready to play on Thursday night football and I think everyone better be ready to cheer.
