College football rankings through week 15…

1. LSU Tigers (13-0) – The Tigers took care of business beating Georgia in the SEC title game.
Now LSU will look to make it 14 straight and win the national title on January 9th against Alabama.

2. Alabama Crimson Tide (11-1) – The Crimson Tide did not play, and had to wait around for
their bowl fate. Coach Saban got good news, as his team remained #2 in the BCS standings. Alabama and LSU will play for the national title on January 9th.

3. Oklahoma State Cowboys (11-1) – Oklahoma State made one final statement Saturday. The
Cowboys beat Oklahoma 44-10, but it was not enough. Oklahoma State finished #3 in the BCS standings. Oklahoma and Stanford will play January 2nd in the Fiesta Bowl.

4. Oregon Ducks (11-2) – Oregon blasted UCLA on Friday night to win the Pac-12 title. The Ducks
ended the season with 46.2 points per game. Oregon will take on Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl on January 1st.

5. Boise State Broncos (11-1) – Boise State finished the season strong with a 45-0 win over New Mexico. The win pushed the Broncos to 11-1 on the season. Boise State will play on December 22nd in Las Vegas against Arizona State.

6. Arkansas Razorbacks (10-2) – Arkansas did not play on Saturday and finished 6th in our rankings. The Razorbacks did not receive a BCS bowl bid, but will play the Kansas State Wildcats on January 6th in the Cotton Bowl.

7. Stanford Cardinal (11-1) – Stanford’s lone loss came to the Oregon Ducks. The Cardinal was able to pick up the second BCS bowl out of the Pac-12. Stanford and Oklahoma State will play in the Fiesta Bowl on January 2nd.

8. USC Trojans (10-2) – The USC Trojans finished their season at 10-2. USC is not playing in a bowl game due to NCAA violations.

9. Kansas State Wildcats (10-2) – Kansas State had a great regular season, finishing 10-2 with their win Saturday over Iowa State. The Wildcats lost games this season to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Kansas State will take on Arkansas on January 6th in the Cotton Bowl.

10. TCU Horned Frogs (10-2) – The Horned Frogs won the Mountain West Conference with their 10-2 overall record. The Horned Frogs scored 56 points in the win over UNLV on
Saturday. TCU will take on Louisiana Tech on December 21st in the Poinsettia Bowl.

11. Baylor Bears (9-3) – Robert Griffin III and the Baylor Bears finished the season with a win over Texas. The Bears finished 9-3, and tied for second in the Big 12. Baylor will take on Washington on December 29th in the Alamo Bowl.

12. Wisconsin Badgers (11-2) – Wisconsin beat the Michigan State Spartans by a field goal to win the first ever Big Ten title game. The Badgers will now look to slow down the Oregon Ducks offense in the Rose Bowl on January 1st.

13. South Carolina Gamecocks (10-2) – South Carolina finished the season 10-2 with losses to Auburn and Arkansas. With that season, the Gamecocks get to play January 2nd against Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl.

14. Clemson Tigers (9-3) – Clemson beat Virginia Tech to win the Atlantic Coast Conference title. The Tigers now get the chance to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers on January 4th in the Orange Bowl.

15. Virginia Tech Hokies (11-2) – The Hokies, for the second time this season lost to the Clemson Tigers. This time, it was in the ACC title game. Despite that, Virginia Tech still gets a BCS bowl. Virginia Tech and Michigan will play January 3rd in the Sugar Bowl.

16. Georgia Bulldogs (10-3) – Georgia shot themselves in the foot too many times early, and were blown out by LSU late. The Bulldogs will get a chance to take on the runner-up of the Big Ten; Michigan State, on January 2nd in the Outback Bowl.

17. Michigan State Spartans (10-3) – The Spartans led through most of the Big Ten title game. Wisconsin scored late in the game to come away with the win. Now Michigan State will look to finish the season on the right direction with a battle against Georgia in the Outback Bowl.

18. Oklahoma Sooners (9-3) – The Sooners finished the season losing two out of their final three games. Oklahoma was blown out by Oklahoma State in the Big 12 title game. The Sooners will now take on Iowa in the Insight Bowl.

19. Michigan Wolverines (10-2) – Michigan finished 10-2 and received a BCS bowl bid. The Wolverines will get a chance to take on the Atlantic Coast Conference runner up – Virginia Tech Hokies on January 3rd in the Sugar Bowl.

20. Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-3) – Nebraska went 9-3 in their first season in the Big Ten. The Cornhuskers will head to Orlando on January 2nd to take on South Carolina in the
Capital One Bowl.

21. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-4) – The Fighting Irish went 8-4 to finish the season. Notre Dame took losses to Michigan, USC and Stanford, along with South Florida. The Fighting Irish will play on December 29th in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando.

22.  Cincinnati Bearcats (9-3) – Cincinnati won a share of the Big East title with a win over Connecticut. Due to BCS rules, the Bearcats did not receive the BCS Bowl; West Virginia did. The
Bearcats will play Vanderbilt on December 31st in the Liberty Bowl.

23. West Virginia Mountaineers (9-3) – West Virginia beat South Florida to tie with two others for the Big East title. The Mountaineers will now get a chance to take on Clemson in the Orange Bowl on January 4th.

24. Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles (11-2) – Southern Mississippi went to Houston and
blew out the Houston Cougars. The win gave the team a Conference USA title. The Golden Eagles will take on Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl on December 24th.

25. Houston Cougars (12-1) – Case Keenum took his first loss of the season in the Conference USA title game. The Cougars will now take on Penn State in the Ticket City Bowl on January 2nd.
